Transport trolleys are dedicated for horizontal movement of packages between technological lines, warehouses and production halls. The weight of transported materials can reach up to 20 tonnes.
The trolleys can be powered by busbars, energy chains – and by capacitors..
The latter solution is particularly innovative. In our MOVI DPS trolleys, we have used modern capacitor batteries that are charged extremely quickly while the trolley is riding. The capacitor is recharged in just a few seconds by passing through the charging point located e.g. next to the storage site. This solution is ideal where space saving is important and where busbars can cause communication problems. The fast-charging battery is also a solution for situations where the trolley on its route must pass through the fire gate. In case of an emergency and power interruption, the trolley can leave the fire gate on time and allow it to be closed properly.
We pay particular attention to the fact that this new way of charging trolleys does not take more time when compared to traditional solutions. This is possible due to very quick battery charging and the ergonomic positioning of the charging point.
