The pallet loading station is a simple and functional device which task is to finally place the package on the pallet. Typically, the station finishes a certain stage of the machining process.
The pallet loading station is prepared for cooperation with the package transport line. After the package goes through the treatment process, the package is transported to a special roller conveyor with an additional pushing device. The pushing bar – mounted to the chain drive – enables the whole package to be transported (pushed) onto a pallet. The pallet awaits the package arrival on a specially mounted lifting platform.
Receipt of the package has been made possible in two ways:
A pallet truck places one pallet on the platform. The platform then rises to the level of the conveyor so that the package on the baseboard can be pushed onto it. When the package is on the platform, it is lowered and the package is picked up by the pallet truck.
A pallet truck places two pallets on the platform – then the platform remains in the lower position. The package on the baseboard is pushed down with the pallets on the platform. When the package is on the platform, it is picked up by the pallet truck.
