System Structure

In our recent installation the system structure is designed as presented below:

• Warehouse Configuration:
  • Three-story warehouse divided into two parts (A and B).
  • A stacker crane runs in the central aisle, capable of carrying two packages simultaneously with dual storage places.
  • Two wireless shuttles can operate simultaneously, entering and exiting the stacker crane for streamlined material handling.
• Ground Floor Layout:
  • Two lines of chain conveyors run along the warehouse’s ground floor, feeding into the center for efficient package transfer.

Process Overview

1. Package Loading:
   • Packages from two presses are collected by a centering trolley and transported to entry conveyors leading to the warehouse.
2. Storage Operations:
   • The stacker crane positions the package at the designated aisle and releases a shuttle cart.
   • The shuttle moves into the warehouse, adjusts position, and places the package in the furthest available slot in the aisle.
   • After placement, the shuttle returns to the stacker crane for the next operation.
3. Package Retrieval:
   • After a seasoning period of at least six hours, a shuttle retrieves the package, returning it to the stacker crane.
   • The stacker crane delivers the package to conveyors for outgoing processing.
