For over 30 years, WUWER has been a leader in the field of innovative internal transport solutions and production automation. To better manage data and production processes, we have implemented a new ERP system: enova365, which has been integrated with CAD – Solidworks – PDM environments. We cooperated with DPS Systems and DPS Sofware to implement the system.
Thanks to the implementation of the ERP enova365 system in our company, the production process has been comprehensively integrated, which enables full identification and monitoring of all activities. As a result, production, logistics, purchasing, quality control, construction, electrical design and programming are now managed with unified and consistent documentation.
It is worth noting that WUWER specializes in the production of unitary devices, which are unique and require complex production processes. The new ERP system helps us effectively manage the complex production process, enabling its division into many levels.
What is more, we decided to introduce integration between the system for constructing machines and devices in a CAD program and the ERP system. Thanks to this integration, we have optimised data management and production processes. For example, when a designer creates an element in our CAD program, he immediately enters it into the ERP system along with all the details; with the necessary raw material and production steps. Now this data is available to everyone from the very beginning. Therefore, we avoid: errors in providing information, incomplete specifications and repetition of work in other departments when planning purchases and production processes. Now we can collect all product data from the very beginning of the process and react in real time.
The purpose of implementing the new ERP in our company WUWER was to: standardize activities at various levels of the organization, streamline operations, increase efficiency and improve reporting and data analysis. After two years, we can assess that the implementation of the system was successful. It has significantly accelerated our processes and improved communication within the company. We continue to cooperate with DPS Systems and expand the system with additional functionalities.
